Papersavers Limited is a family owned and operated Company in Markham that has been a leader in providing flexible, reliable and affordable shredding and recycling services since 1991.

To give you some background, John Loughlin started the Company in 1991. At that time recycling and shredding seemed somewhat unnecessary as most businesses and households were not overly concerned with things such as landfills and identity theft. Things have changed. In 2010 the approximate diversion rate for commercial consumers was roughly 20%. In 2023, that diversion rate increased to approximately 54%. Diversion rates continue to increase for both commercial and residential consumers across Canada.

We are very proud to not only have been on the cutting edge of providing small office recycling services, but our service options have expanded tremendously over the years in order to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly waste management solutions. We are continuously seeking new ways  to significantly improve waste reduction specifically in a commercial setting.

In addition to our multi-material recycling services, our confidential document shredding services, are AAA Certified through the International Secure Information Governance & Management Association (otherwise known as i-SIGMA). Through the i-SIGMA Certification Program, i-SIGMA Certified members are audited for on-site and off-site operations for paper/printed media, micro media, and computer hard drive destruction to ensure they are meeting the highest industry standard. In short, i-SIGMA does the homework so you don’t have to.
